Nestled amongst the Victorian houses and hotels of Southern Parade is this wonderful B&B. The owners David and Cheryl go out of their way to make guests feel relaxed and at home. Decked out in a beach seaside theme throughout, it also pays homage to Llandudno’s entertainment history by feature walls in the dining room with delightful programs, posters and memorabilia of the town’s famous pier and Palladium. We were in Room 11 on the third floor. The view is of the town and distant mountains towards Conwy. Delightful decoration, en-suite with a lovely comfy bed; hospitality tray including hot chocolate and biscuits; hairdryer and T.V. The front of the hotel overlooks the War Memorial, beach and pier. Breakfast included, see further note below, is delicious. The house was a miners cottage, do be prepared for a number of stairs as there is no lift. Chairs are provided to rest on landings if needed. I recommend Beachside and would certainly stay here again.
August visit. Hosts were very friendly, the guest house was very clean and decorated in a pretty beach theme. Room was small by US standard but to be expected as a renovated rowhouse, and the en suite bathroom seemed new and worked fine. Great location. Breakfast was well staffed and excellent. Well recommended.
The owners Cheryl and David are the nicest people you will ever meet. Their gust house is spotlessly clean. The breakfast is excellent. I cannot rate this place high enough
A lovely b and b in a great location with friendly and helpful owners. The whole building is decorated and furnished beautifully. The breakfast was tasty and served quickly. There’s a car park at the back of the hotel which is very useful to have access to. We would return again. When comparing to other Llandudno bed and breakfasts that charge a similar room rate, two improvements would be to have fresh drinking water on the tea tray in the bedroom because not everyone drinks hot drinks and to have one type of fresh pastry on offer at breakfast.
Stayed at Beachside at the beginning of August with my 2 daughters and 3 of my grandchildren, aged 15, 12 & 8. Excellent location, lovely breakfast, cooked to order and served quickly. Cheryl and David are perfect hosts. Rooms are very clean and well equipped. Nice lounge with honesty bar, great if you want a quiet drink in the evening. I liked that extra milk, tea, etc and toilet rolls were available readily on the landing. Private car park for a small charge. Will definitely visit again. Granddaughter was 8 while we were there and they even put up a Happy Birthday banner by our breakfast table. Booked in the name of my daughter Carol Jacomy, visiting from Paris. I'm a bit nearer!
Just returned home from a wonderful stay yet again. We love it here, thank you David and Cheryl for your wonderful hosting. Fab room, always spotless and fresh, breakfast is freshly cooked to order every morning with an excellent choice. Location is spot on for everything, cannot fault it . Diolch yn fawr xx
Friendly host, nice decor and great location. I was probably not the usual guest as I stayed at Beachside as a part of my business trip rather than holiday break. Place is very cozy and clean with host going the extra mile to make your stay very comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you Dave. Nice beech theme decor makes you feel good and very tasty made to order breakfast compliments your stay. One little thing I found was the shower temp controller knob was missing a lever part which made it really hard to adjust (I’m not a weak person) there was also an empty shower gel pouch in the shower tray probably left by previous guests. Other than that perfect place which I am planning to visit again.
A lovely guest house with close proximity to Llandudno pier and promenade. Room 1 (Superior Pier View Room) was great for our two night stay. Friendly staff, good breakfast and a lovely beach theme throughout the premises. We booked directly on the Beachside Guest House website as prices are cheaper.
